What Is A Wind Mitigation Inspection?
The state of Florida REQUIRES Insurance Companies to offer REDUCED RATES on Wind Insurance for certain Hurricane resistant features. We will inspect the features present in your home, such as roof straps and roof attachment, and produce a WIND MITIGATION inspection report for you in order to obtain your WIND MITIGATION CREDITS from your insurance agent.
To qualify for a Wind Mitigation Discount and/or rebate on your existing wind insurance policy, insurance companies require a licensed building professional certification (Wind Mitigation Inspection) of the structure. Our $125 Wind Mitigation inspection fee will cover all related aspects of the wind mitigation inspection and wind mitigation certification. The discounts are available to single family homes and condominium units alike.
How do I know if I will qualify for a Windstorm Mitigation discount? Just click on Schedule Inspection or call us at (239) 823-4330. Our Certified Inspector will only check those items and construction features specifically listed on the standard wind mitigation insurance inspection form (nothing else is inspected or reported to the insurance company). The entire wind mitigation inspection will take 20 minutes at most AND we guarantee that if you don't save at least the cost of the inspection in the first year we will refund the difference to you!
